In 2007 I left the watersports industry after 12 years of working as a parasail captain and watersports manager in the Caribbean and Florida.  I moved with my family to start a new career in Mississippi.  I started a job as the manager of an oil and gas company dispatching trucks and fleet compliance.  This segued into a position working in safety for a civil engineering company specializing in road and bridge construction.
Then in 2014 I became aware of a need for someone with watersports and parasail experience to perform risk assessments for the liability carriers. I formed S-TEC the same year and started providing consulting services for the watersports industry.
My previous experience as a parasail captain and current experience as a safety professional gave me a unique ability to understand the operation and do a thorough inspection of the vessel, winch system, tow line, hydraulics, parasails, harness and required documentation.

In addition to consulting, I continue to work as a Safety & EEO officer.  I have a broad background of experience in the watersports industry, FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and MSHA regulations.
